High Flux Solar Simulator made up of 7 sets of Xenon Lamp, with use of elliptical reflectors.
The High Flux Solar Simulator is placed in the test chamber (fully covered) for safety consideration. The large amount of heat is dangerous and and UV light is harmful. The chamber is designed with air inlet and outlet to keep the internal temperature low.
In this project, the lambertian target is binded to the water-cooled heat sink.
The Lambertian Target (94% reflection) purchased from Labsphere is damaged even with water cooling. We custom-made a new lambertian target that is able to sustain high temperature. This lambertian target design can be further improved.
The lamps are adjusted to focus at a point (center of the beam within 5mm difference for all lamps).
This is a customized design and build project, installed at NUS U-Town. Information above is for reference purpose only. Please contact us for design and details.
