The X2-LIO2-BOTTLE-CELL is designed specifically for lithium-oxygen (LiO₂) battery research applications.

It features a high-quality Scott 500 mL glass bottle (Made in Germany) that ensures superior durability and chemical compatibility.

The assembly is airtight, utilizing a sealing silicone ring between the bottle, cap, and stainless steel components to ensure optimal isolation from the external environment.

The latest version now incorporates a 3D-printed cap, significantly enhancing sealing performance compared to earlier models.

  • Stainless Steel Pipe Diameter: 4 mm
  • 3D-printed cap: Improved sealing quality and durability.
  • Compatible with X2Lab’s CR2032 Coin Cell (with punched holes) for LiO₂ battery testing.
  • Optional fittings available: Compatible with 1/4" soft tubing or stainless steel piping.

Tips for Sealing the 4 mm Stainless Steel Tube After Oxygen Filling:

  1. Wrap the tube head with several rounds of Teflon tape.
  2. Secure the tube with the provided black rubber cap.
  3. Further reinforce the seal by wrapping Parafilm around the rubber cap and tube connection.

⚠️ Important Note:

This bottle cell is not designed for use under pressure. It is intended for ambient pressure applications only.
